OSCAR: This is a dynamite new series starring Billy Bob Thornton and Sam Elliot. All the characters are believable, and they relate as a family in a viable way. I am hooked on the show and that is rare for me with brand new offerings. The young newcomers are also standouts and do a great job!!

EMMY: Same as Oscar…I love this show and it is a great find. I actually get excited to watch TV!!! All of the actors are a perfect fit together in this ‘family’. HIGHLY recommend it – now showing on Paramount.

    You drew it! Fabulous. I love it. And I mostly love BBT! But guess what? I haven’t seen Slingblade !! I just didn’t want to see him with that kind of roll. But I’ll give it a watch and let you know if I like it.

      It’s a good watch if you are a BBT fan. He really does a great job in his transformation into his character.

    Landman is one of my new favorite series. I like all the characters- even the newcomers like you said. And I especially like how they handled the w*** nonsense Not afraid to come right out and take a stand. Sam Elliott is also a standout. Not sure about that physical therapist though. Hope they don’t hook up. I’d hate that. Also I’m not a fan of demy Moore but she’s not too bad here. Funny comic

    my favorite characters? The mom/daughter duo. They feed off each other in perfect harmony without being whiny or bit**y.
