L.A. CONFIDENTIAL (1997)-click title

Oscar: So I was asked about the film L.A. Confidential. One of the best films..probably on my top 10. This is a Noir-type movie and it works fabulously!!! All the characters are gripping and the actors/actresses give it all they’ve got!!! If you haven’t seen this film you are in for a fantastic treat!!! I envy you!! Filmed in Los Angeles, it is set in the 1950s. One of Russell Crowe’s (Gladiator) early film roles. He is my favorite character in a movie FULL of engaging and believable characters. This film is a must see if you want to be entertained and on the edge of your seat!!! I won’t give anything away if you are the one person in the world who hasn’t seen this movie!! Highly Recommended!!!

Emmy: I’m fully onboard with Oscar on this film. It has so many great moments in it. I also do not want to give anything away. SOOOOO GOOD!!! The settings and scenery are superior. My mom says it looks just like L.A. in the 1950s!!! If you haven’t already, do yourself and anyone you get to join you a huge favor and watch this movie!!! I am pretty sure you will become a fan!!!

Hi Kathy!! Ideas just roam around in my head where they have PLENTY of room!!! Actually, I was heavily influenced by MAD Magazine back in the day. The drawings from Mort Drucker, one of the artists from Mad really made me want to cartoon. I draw whenever I can and the fun part is really thinking up the dialogue for the comics. Once I get an idea, it sure fuels the fire for me to draw it and post it. When I was a kid, I drew comics for my dad of random things that happened around our house. My father was a good dad and he laughed at them and encouraged me so much! Thank you for visiting… if you subscribe, you will be notified whenever a new film topic and comic is posted here by me. Thank you for the encouragement!!

A mystery thriller that moves like few others. The twists and turns will be obvious to any average movie goer, but the plot was never the focus. This is a clear cut character piece and here, few can rival the masterclass work on display. The cast is flawless, the script is magnificent and Hanson’s directing somehow weaves all of it together so it’s not only (structurally) a marvel, but wildly entertaining. thanks for capturing the character in your characters.
