Rosemary’s Baby (1968)

OSCAR: This one is a request and I loved doing it. Rewatched the movie and was a fantastic walk down memory lane. Thanks to Billy for requesting this one!!! Sorry it took so long..I started a new job at another prison as the one I was working for closed down. In this new position I have to work many long hours…but…I’m just happy to have the job!!!

The movie itself is a kind of slow burn that really pays off in the end. It never losses it’s creepy vibe from the very start. Mia Farrow plays Rosemary who moves into a new apartment building with her husband. There are ominous happenings to her with her husband and their newfound friends in the New York building they all live in.

EMMY: The is creepy but a well-shot movie… the New York vibe in the 60s was a great escape from today’s challenges and obstacles. The actors all did a wonderful and eerie job in their character’s place. I’m with Oscar that the late 60s New York scenes were refreshing in a nostalgic and fantastic change from the movies we have had in recent years. Loved Ruth Gordon in this movie…she just draws you in with her motherly wisdom and kindness….until…..hahaha
