OSCAR: One of my all-time favorite sitcoms… no politics, no serious messages, no dramatic nonsense, just fun!!! I lived with my aunt and uncle for a while back in the day after I was (honorably) discharged from the U.S. Navy and we would sit up and watch Cheers as it became a custom for us to do so. GREAT memories…sigh
EMMY: I loved Cheers also and for the same reasons that Oscar did. No political preaching or unnecessary drama and all the characters had perfect comic harmony. I miss shows like this.
