The Partridge Family (1970)

Oscar: The Partridge family was yet another great show created in the 70s. The best part about the show for me was the love/hate relationship between Danny (Bonaduce) and Keith (David Cassidy) providing some of the funniest scenes in my opinion. I grew up with six brothers so I totally understood the relationship!!!

Emmy: I feel the same way as Oscar…I grew up with 3 brothers and 2 sisters so I enjoyed this show on the same level. I really loved the mother (Shirley Jones) because she (like MANY mothers) kept the chaos together with motherly warmth and wisdom. She was the rock of the Partridge clan!! I also liked the fact that David Cassidy was her stepson in real life!!

    Cartridge family … I get it! Very clever. Danny was my fave though.

      He Casey!! Danny was great and Dave Madden who played Mr. Kincade really took Danny under his wing as I had read Danny Bonaduce’s dad was a bit abusive and jealous of his son’s fame. I wanted to build the comic around Snake (played by the late great Rob Reiner). I have an ‘All in the Family’ comic that I will post at some point as well. Thank you very much for the reply!!!

    So my question is …. Partridge Family or Brady Bunch?? I’m a partridge family fan myself over Brady bunch but both were great shows. Maybe you could draw Brady bunch as well??!! Hello World there’s a song that we’re singing… compare to Here’s a Story of a man named Brady … love you blog. I’ve read them all but this is my first time commenting.
